On this day we had the most wonderful time driving from Eugene down to Medford. We decided to take the scenic route and go to Crater Lake. This was definitely one of the most beautiful places either of us have ever been to. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crater_Lake Read about it. The geology of it is amazing! We got there right before sunset and since there were some forest fires in the area there was a haze of smoke inside the crater. Leave a comment about the most beautiful places you've been to. The slope up the volcano was strangely deserted yet it had big pine trees. So eerie.
