Spent time with Lovely Liz and got to drive along Vancouver Island and loved it up.
Beautiful Liz and her owl cat who wonderfully tolerated Sansa.
Liz showed us the Salmon Hatchery in Courtney. She explained a little of how Salmon are part of the cultural mentality. We got to join a field trip group and we were surprised how the kids were super excited about all of it, even when they saw the salmon getting bonked, they were thoughtful and amazed.
Sean was a little weirded out at the hatchery.
In Courtney, we went to this great museum. The Salmon mentality was here in a bold way which we both enjoyed a lot. There was also this awesome book modifying show! Some of the coolest stuff ever.
Courtenay, reminded me of Utah's autumn colors.

This is what the ferry looks like at night! More magical than Disneyland for sure.
