20th

On this day we had the most wonderful time driving from Eugene down to Medford. We decided to take the scenic route and go to Crater Lake. This was definitely one of the most beautiful places either of us have ever been to. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crater_Lake Read about it. The geology of it is amazing! We got there right before sunset and since there were some forest fires in the area there was a haze of smoke inside the crater. Leave a comment about the most beautiful places you've been to. We would love to know.

The slope up the volcano was strangely deserted yet it had big pine trees. So eerie.

Last day in Washington. We were ready to get on our way down the coast. We got all the way to Portland that night.

She loves traveling so much that she gets all pathetic like this after two days in one place.

One of the coziest sleeps we had.

Only at a Chinese buffet

Cousins and Comrades

We get pretty dorky sometimes.

16th -18th

There weren't many pictures for these days. We just headed back to the States and hung out in Seattle for a few days.

Bellingham, Washington. Second hotel we stayed in. It was just what we needed. Sansa had to sleep in the truck but, she handled it like a champ.

Some homeless hitchhikers we picked up on the way.

Walking around Seattle we got to see all sorts of crazy stuff. Thanks Rabid and Eraser!

15th

Spent the day all over Vancouver City. Stanley Park was amazing, it was an oasis in the middle of the city. We highly recommend it to anyone who goes to Vancouver.

City and Stanley Park. :)

I was hangin' with some crazy frog buddies. Also, going to space.

Beluga Whale wierdos

Dude was just sleeping like this. I went nuts over these guys. We got to see them eat clams and swim all over the place. Their teeth are way longer than I thought, they were bigger than a large dogs. Huge canines!

14th Vancouver Island

Spent time with Lovely Liz and got to drive along Vancouver Island and loved it up.

Beautiful Liz and her owl cat who wonderfully tolerated Sansa.

Liz showed us the Salmon Hatchery in Courtney. She explained a little of how Salmon are part of the cultural mentality. We got to join a field trip group and we were surprised how the kids were super excited about all of it, even when they saw the salmon getting bonked, they were thoughtful and amazed.

Sean was a little weirded out at the hatchery.

In Courtney, we went to this great museum. The Salmon mentality was here in a bold way which we both enjoyed a lot. There was also this awesome book modifying show! Some of the coolest stuff ever.

Courtenay, reminded me of Utah's autumn colors.

For Jothan, Nanaimo

This is what the ferry looks like at night! More magical than Disneyland for sure.

11th-13th

One of the highlights of our trip was going to Powell River in British Columbia. The drive from Tacoma was one of the most exciting and rejuvenating things we did. Every turn showed us a new world, just like Aladdin and Jasmine's carpet ride. We were in awe. After arriving we got to spend some great time with some of the best people we know. We happened to show up the night before Thanksgiving. Lucky us! Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures at Mabel's house. Lame, I know. We had such a great time being there. Getting spend time in that peaceful place was exactly what we needed. Also, we got to spend good time with Grandma Sam and all the family there. We were so blessed.

Definitely the nicest Canadian Thanksgiving we've ever had.

One of the neighbors taught me how to fillet a salmon. The vegetarian in me was super grossed out. The anatomist in me was super, amazingly, intrigued. If you know me I'm sure you can imagine. ;)

The silent man.

My Uncle Ron. First meeting getting traumatized by the elk but, loving him.

Lund, British Columbia, Canada. Wonderful, Wise, World.

The beginning of Highway 101. It goes all the way down to Argentina, that's over 15,000 miles. What an adventurer!

This is our retirement home. Actually, we heard it belongs to the guy who invented Crocs, the shoes. Plus, I was pointing to every home we saw and falling in love with all of them.

'Lil teeney weeney crabby

I've never seen the ocean floor look like mosaic tiles before

Sean Brown the remarkable

Beautiful British Columbia. Makes me wanna snug with those mountains.

Powell River Salmon Hatchery. Who knew they were so magnificent?

These are all the babies from just one salmon! I used to be against youmans sticking our noses around in animals business. But, we learned a lot and saw how much rehabilitation is helping. My opinion changed! Isn't that the point of traveling?

Rob and Mew. I couldn't be happier.
